Buitron Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") built SubSentry with a strict "privacy-first" philosophy. Your financial data is yours alone. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the SubSentry mobile application.
1. Local Data Storage (Core Functionality)
SubSentry is designed to operate completely offline by default. All of your subscription data (names, prices, billing cycles, custom notes) is stored exclusively locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database. We do not collect, read, transmit, or sell your financial data.
2. Google Drive Cloud Sync (Pro Feature)
If you upgrade to SubSentry Pro and choose to enable the optional Cloud Sync feature, SubSentry will request permission to connect to your Google Drive account via the secure OAuth flow.
- What we access: We request the restrictive
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.filescope. This means SubSentry can only access the specific, hidden application data folder it creates. We cannot read, view, or modify any of your personal files, photos, or documents in your Google Drive. - How we use this data: We use this connection strictly to upload a secure, AES-encrypted backup of your local database to your Google Drive, and to restore that backup to your device upon your request.
- Data Sharing: We do not share your Google Drive data with any third parties, AI models, or analytics services.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
If you choose to upgrade to SubSentry Pro, we use a trusted third-party service, RevenueCat, to process your purchase securely via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous user identifier to manage your "Pro" status across devices. We do not have access to your credit card information or billing identity.
4. Calendar Access (Optional)
If you utilize the "Add to Calendar" feature, SubSentry will request local permission to write events to your device's calendar. SubSentry only creates new events for your payment reminders; it does not read, export, or store your existing calendar events.
5. Local Authentication (App Lock)
If you enable the App Lock feature, your PIN or biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID) is processed entirely by your device's secure operating system enclave. We do not have access to your biometric data, and it never leaves your device.
6. Anonymous Analytics
We may collect entirely anonymous, aggregated crash reports and diagnostic data (such as app version and device model) to help us identify bugs and improve the application. This data contains no personally identifiable information or financial data.
7. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Because your core data is stored locally, you have complete control over it.
- You can delete all your financial data immediately by uninstalling the SubSentry application.
- You can revoke SubSentry's access to your Google Drive at any time by visiting your Google Account Security settings under "Third-party apps with account access."
